My aim with all of my design work is to produce original, interesting and wearable items that knitters can enjoy making and using for a lifetime.

My inspirational sources are as wide as the world around me and are invariably themed around one of the myriad aspects of life that fascinate me. These range from my own indigenous culture and the natural world around me through science, art, history, poetry and legend. I allow my chosen theme to suggest rather than be dictatorial, so it serves as a framework on which to build shapes, styles, patterns and colour ideas.
