My first consideration when designing my Hebridean range was to create a yarn that would perform perfectly for knitting, weaving, tapestry, felting, embroidery and needlepoint. Of equal importance was to design a colour range that would in itself inspire and surprise me to create endlessly innovative works.

I have used my Hebridean range to create all of the textile work I have produced over the last twenty years and it continues to be as exciting a medium today as it was on the first occasion I laid my hands on it.
